Before Winter, a Gentle Note 🌾
Winter is working, even when it looks still.
Dear friends,
December always asks us to slow down.
The light shifts. The days shorten. The world seems to draw inward — not in retreat, but in preparation. Roots deepen. Energy gathers. What will come next begins quietly, below the surface.
I wanted to share a gentle note with you, in that same spirit.
Over the past months, Les Racines Connectées has grown in ways I never could have predicted — through conversations, community, land, and possibility. And as this growth continues, it’s becoming clear that the next season calls for a small pause… and a thoughtful re-rooting.
In the coming weeks, I’ll be transitioning our writing and community into a new home — one that gives us more room to grow, more freedom to shape our voice, and more care around how our stories, projects, and relationships are held. This means things may feel a little quieter here for a short while as I tend to the foundations and prepare what comes next.
Nothing is ending.
Everything is being gathered.
This pause is not about stepping away — it’s about turning inward, strengthening what’s beneath the surface, and making space for deeper, more intentional growth in the new year.
When the time comes, I’ll share where and how we’ll continue — and you’ll be warmly invited, with no pressure, no rush. For now, thank you for being here. Thank you for reading, listening, and growing alongside me through this season.
May this month offer you rest where you need it, clarity where you seek it, and gentleness wherever you are.
With gratitude and quiet anticipation for what’s ahead —
À bientôt, mes cœurs💚,
Ishah 🌿
Les Racines Connectées
We’ll meet again soon — when the ground is ready.
