🌿About the Sanctuary
The Living Sanctuary 001 is a regenerative infrastructure initiative — designed to bring clean water, renewable energy, and community-grown food to one shared space.
Born from collaboration between Les Racines Connectées and D Squared Engineering, it transforms a modular KOOP K2 unit into a living classroom where technology meets ecology, and innovation serves the collective good.
In November 2025, The Living Sanctuary 001 began its community journey at the 4th Annual Harvesting Hope event in Las Vegas — our first public planting and shared invitation to regeneration. Families, children, and neighbors joined to write wishes for the soil and plant the first symbolic seeds of hope.
This moment marked the beginning of Phase 1: Community Grounding — connecting hearts before structures, and allowing the Sanctuary to take its first breath in public soil.
Every root begins with a single seed — this is ours.

The Living Sanctuary’s first phase begins with connection — bringing people, story, and soil together before structure.
What started at the Harvesting Hope event marks the foundation of this work: relationship as infrastructure.
From here, we continue deepening both roots and partnerships — growing at the pace of trust.

On-site purification and distribution system offering safe, reusable water for plants and people.

Hydroponic gardens turn each lesson into a living act of nourishment and stewardship.
When communities root together, technology becomes care, and infrastructure becomes life.

A creative and community-powered initiative of Le Collectif Racine, LRC bridges technology, ecology, and storytelling to design systems that heal both people and planet.
Through local activation, education, and artful collaboration, LRC turns regenerative ideas into tangible community spaces that teach resilience — root by root.
We believe infrastructure should nourish — not extract.

A pioneering sustainability and systems engineering firm, D Squared specializes in resilient, modular solutions for water, energy, and infrastructure.
Their KOOP K2 platform forms the technical foundation of this pilot — a self-contained, solar-powered system designed to purify water, grow food, and generate renewable energy anywhere it’s needed.
